Application

LPG is a fuel gas that is utilised in vehicles, kitchen appliances, and home heating systems. It is increasingly used as an aerosol propellant and a refrigerant in place of chlorofluorocarbons in an effort to decrease damage to the ozone layer. When specifically used as an automobile fuel, it is more frequently referred to as auto gas or even just plain gas. LPG is available in a variety of mixtures, the most common of which are ones that are mostly both propane and butane (C 3H 8 and C 4H 10, respectively). In the northern hemisphere, the combinations contain more propane in the winter and more butane in the summer.
