Application

These oils are formulated with superior quality base oils fortified with selected additives which provides very high TBN retention power, and assist in protecting engine parts from corrosion attributed to high sulphur levels encountered in residual fuel. These oils have excellent detergent dispersant, anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties, high oxidation and thermal stability. MAK marine grades have good water tolerance and good water separation ability. They have good sludge, dirt and soot handeling capabilities and exhibits good load carrying characteristics. These oils are basically available in basicity level of 10 TBN, 20 TBN, 30 TBN in each of the SAE viscocity grade.
