Product Specification
* Hydraulic Thruster Brake
* (36Kg) for 200 MM Brake Drum.
Application
An electronic hydraulic thruster drum brake, often known as a thruster, is a tool for slowing down moving machinery and stopping it precisely in the desired location. A pre-stressed compression spring applies braking power to the brake shoes, which in turn press against the rotating brake drum to slow it down and ultimately stop it. The thruster is responsible for depressing the spring and releasing the braking drum. Because of their "soft / smooth" braking and "fail-to-safety" designs, thruster operated drum brakes are mostly employed in material lifting and handling equipment (in the sphere of applications like ports, steel and metallurgy, mining, etc.).
